What is the technical name (I believe Aiptasia) and how do I get rid of them?

I find that alittle white vinegar in a syringe does the trick. Just poke them with the needle and shoot a little bit to them. The close up and let go of the rock they are on and then you can just scoop them out.

Peppermint shrimp, a thick liquid/paste of kalkwasser and water. Use a syringe and stick it into the mouth of the anemone. Also, a product on the market called "Joe's Juice". I believe vinegar works as well.

telman is thinking of mahono or however its spelled. white vinegar does kill the aiptasia though. they kinda just melt.
