Cool :) Thanks for all the help! How do you hand feed a coral? All my corals have been photosynthetic.

I have a sun coral with at least 60 heads on it, new to my tank. I use a medicine dispenser filled with a mix of tank water, thawed Cycl-o-peze and mysis shrimp and squirt it directly onto the polyps, they take food easily, but the rest of the tank tries to grab the food, so I put the whole colony into a breeder net, hang it on inside of tank, that protects it. A bit of extra work but sooooo worth it, it's a gorgeous coral.

I have one of those Sea-Squirts. It's pretty much a turky baster with an extra long tube. It works pretty good for target feeding. It's also nice because you don't have to get your hands wet when using it..

Feed your dendro when the head opens up and the feeder tentacles are out..
