    216 diodes divided by 23 = 9.391 so what would that be?

    Standard fixtures have 3 watt leds which are slightly under driven..

    The problem with the smaller leds in the penetration. Their effectiveness drops quick as distance increases. And aren't they like $100 each? For $179 you can get a reefbreeders fixture and you could sell yours.

    Wow .106! So a regular led is like 300 times brighter? That's a lot of strips just to get the power of 1 led.

    I don't know if brighter would be the correct term because I'm sure if you looked into them it would still be hella bright.. But it would be 30x not 300x haha

    Ha yea I thought about that 300 after I posted. But still, even at 30x the power. If buying another 2 strips lights was an option money wise , then the reef breeders would be a major upgrade at same cost. Maybe even the photon with a dimmer control.
