    Wow, that thing looks like a tank! Seems a bit high for that much spread though. I'd think you'd just want it several inches over the water on that sized tank. I'm super jealous though; congrats!

    Yes, it's more blue in person. Plus you can adjust the intensity of blue/white to your liking with the dimming control box.

    I use the aquaclear filter to run carbon.

    m2434, the length of the tank is 14" longer than the light. If the light is just a few inches above the tank then the two sides will be a little shady. I have the light 10.5" above the water. With the setting on med./max, the light pretty much covers the whole tank at that height.

    Man that looks really nice - those pics are better than OC Reefs by the way. They might want those for their site. :lol:
