Wow, That looks good! It's really powerful!

How does that look in comparison to what you actually see? I know it's hard to capture the blue of LEDs with a camera.

Thats the hardest thing is photographing what you actually see...

I struggle with that all the time.

But yea.. the pics dont tell the true tale of how they're in person. It is much better looking in person.

It would be nice if these companys producing these bulbs would actually make a fixture specifically for its use instead of making it an Easter Egg hunt to find one that will work.::) Great pic.

Looks great, but one big issue. Just like the BoostLEDs you can NOT have a can on the fixture. It holds the heat & does not let the heatsink cool the LEDs properly. End result, the bulb will fail a LOT quicker.. Perhaps cut the can down a bit, but not covering the heatsink assembly.

Ive took that into consideation. I have it right next to fans.... where theres steady airflow circulating threw it. Everything is absolutely cool to the touch. After hours of running Ive touched it with no feeling of heat.

Looking at it screwed in the largest diameter part of the heatsink is exposed with air going right through it. Looks like where the heart of the lamp is.

Ah, great.. I'm not running any fans on mine at this time. My heatsinks get to 135 degrees. Thus the reason for the can issues.

On a second note, it is a pain to take pics with these LEDs. The camera has a real hard time focusing correctly.. I'll have to try manual focus.

    The pics look good tatted.

But as CJ stated, these bulbs have to have plenty of circulation around the heat sink...even with a a fan you are still voiding the warranty by putting it into a can light.
