My entry. The only CUC I have is a very strong one I transferred from my 29G plus a little extra I picked up. The fuzzy spots in the pics... yeah, thats algae/diatoms on the glass.

I only wish I would have seen this before I scraped it a couple days ago. It was really bad then.

I've been fighting this plague for a year now. I have great filtration, and a very healthy tank. My next step is to get a GFO reactor and my own ro/di unit rather then use the lfs's water. The infestation is caulerpa verticallata. ::cry::

A CUC may help. Any suggestions otherwise would be greatly appreciated. Just shoot me a pm

Finally a real entry. Thanks hydrologic. :)
If you don't win, John will certainly help you get that under control all the same I am sure.

yeah fuzzy caulerpa can grow can't it? under low nutrient conditions too...easy to clean though if you win I will have that clean by week's end. Have had the "privilege" of killing all sorts of fuzzy caulerpa.

If only I had my inlaw's tank! I could win this! He's got almost all the nuisance stuff, and some of them he even bought at the store! He wouldn't let me take a pic of his tank anyway. He knows better.

It sure can!! Drives me crazy. I'll pull a lot out and it's back in a week. Pulling it out, besides being almost impossible, is stressful on the fish and corals so its almost not worth it, though I do on occasion.

Glad I could contribute to the contest. I had to swallow my pride a bit to post the pictures, but I figured what the heck, sharing could lead to a solution. -happy reefing
