ugly plugs

    There is a store in Portland that uses plastic golf tees. I think if I have to have a plug those are the best just because you can easily cut off the tip and then put the rest of the tee in a hole and you don't even see it!! Plus tees are usually pretty small!

    that is a good idea...frag grows over it quickly...tee is easily inserted... any chance you can have them call my LFS? :)

    yes they actually look great john. It doesn't take long for them to encrust and you can always find a little hole small enough to insert the tee. I really like them.

    well at least you got to learn a fun repair project. :)

    - i really like the golf tee idea. the simple ones are always the best, I was looking at my tank and I was counting the holes the golf tees would work in... would be nice. (it is FOWLR at the moment though). A few holes to big, and they would fall in, but a lot of good ones too
