Yup. It was one of those 5 gallon-ish Picotope tanks. A ton came in on a local shipment and I grabbed up some if the big ones for my hitchhikers guide. Then I wanted pics of their eggs, so I gave them a tank. They really are quite stunning.

very cool snail for sure, there are a lot of cool predatory snails. Hairy tritons and crown conchs...I know a few people who have been keeping some of these guys. I like Gaudy Naticas for a tank like that. Eat other snails and clams, but if the other snails are predators too they usually become meals. Not your usual hitchers though...

I got my ugly brown palys today.

I think you might have sent the wrong ones though, these ones have a little green to them.

i think if they were the neon green ones you would know for sure, but I think that is the ones. They may color up, I had them under only actinic light and they went a dark brown but were a little nicer prior to that.

    Still ugly.... :)

Well they definitely aren't neon green more of a hunter green.

I tried to take a picture... as you can see I don't have KC's photo taking ability either. I took these pictures when they are still new to the tank and hadn't opened up entirely. I think they got a bit more green as the day went on.

Once opened up fully they are definitely ugly brown with the very slightest hinting of dark green.

    I like them though!
