Yeah I am sure you can, I just never have. I like paste because you can apply it and it does not spread to surrounding areas, namely your zoanthids and palys.

Nope, it looks small, take it out and let it dry a couple days and then rinse it.

you can also inject with vinegar as well...i believe... but coraline always has solid advice. Definitely take the rock out before messing with him.

coraline what exactly is "nuking" the rock?

Well if it straight lemon juice they should dissolve or use boiling water. Again that is why I like kalk paste because you can just put it on and leave for a while and then rinse it off.

Nuking a rock to me does not been boiling it, microwaving it or baking it. Nuking it means letting it dry or soaking in FW to the point that the beneficial bacteria are probably dead also.
You could also try peppermint shrimp but those are pretty big aiptasia.

I have tried every method available to kill aiptasia, every product except the wand. The only methods that worked without fail were peppermint shrimp (but they became their own nightmare) nuking the rock or removing the rock and treating with Kalk paste.

What is this kalk paste you speak of? Wouldn't mind trying that on a little one I see on a rock that's buried in the tank, possible? Do u inject or apply with like a popsicle stick?
