O I have aiptasia on my hands? If so, does the lemon juice tactic work? Or can I pull the rock to a bucket and treat there? Maybe blast em with boiling water? Had this rock for awhile with 3 of these on it, luckily it hasn't spread. [IMG][IMG]

Are those polyps are just a different kind of pest anemone?

Can you get a better image of the second image, in the image they look like neither zoanthids or palys but another pest anemone type.

    Why yes they are.

So there are no frags that you purchased on the rock with the Aiptasia?

If you can remove that piece I would take it out, pat it dry, make up some kalk paste, put it directly on the big aiptasia and let the rock sit for 10-15 minutes out of the tank, rinse the rock with SW and put back in the tank.

I would nuke the small rock with aiptasia.

Zonathids can stay out of the tank for longer periods, in fact sometimes they are shipped wrapped in news paper.

You nuke that large aiptasia in the tank and it will release planula and your trouble will be 10 fold. Take it from someone who has made that mistake even after I knew better.
