What does your presure gauge read?
Looks good and I hope you left enough room to remove the filters.

That looks great. Does anyone know a cheap place to get a pressure gage. The kent models don't come with one.

The gauge is reading exactly 50 psi. What should it be?
if it drops over time im assuming this is an idaction that the membrane needs replaceing or flushing correct?

The pressure gauge is for your house water pressure going to the membrane. This should read 40 psi and if anything lower then you will need a pump on the feed line to the RO/DI unit.
You are fine with 50 psi.
You should flush the membrane every week to keep it healthy. Did you put in a "T" on the RO/DI unit?
If you want drinking water put a T before the DI filter and this will be drinking water.
The waste water can be used in the washer machine to clean clothes so your not so wasteful :D

Awesome suggestion on waste water use Dave! [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
The unit came w/the DI bypass valve for RO only.
