    Its a old name in skimmers and I think its as good as any in its price range and better then many that cost far more. I run a 5000 shorty on a 2,000 gallon system and it does a great job. Ran a 1000 on my systems for many yrs it did a great job..

    I liked the older version I had. Mega bubbles and gunk. Although the pump did annoy me - it required frequent cleaning and was louder than I would have liked - a lot of vibration.

    Ocean runner pump ? I removed them and reworked a Mag drive to run ours here at the shop the O/R pump was always a issue with re starting and noise..

    Yeah it was the ocean runner. Low watts, but a pain in the butt. Also a very large pump.

    Yes thwey are .. I call them junk myself. the up grade makes a huge difference
