Nautilus, I don't know what size your stand pipe is but if you have a 1" drain then you will need.

1 1-1/2" to 1" PVC reducer ( if you can get a 2" or 2-1/2" to 1" into your overflow you can use one of them also)

    1 1" PVC Pipe cap

And some 1" PVC Pipe ( You will have to measure the depth of your overflow box to determine the length of your stand pipe) You want the BELL of the reducer below the divider in the overflow.

You will also need a drill bit to drill the holes in the stand pipe and one for the vent tube in the pipe cap.

You may also need to ream out the reducer so the stand pipe goes all the way threw it ( some reducers have a ridge in them to stop the pipe from doing just that)

I did not glue anything I just stuck it together and it has been working fine

Let me know how you make out

Are you saying the reducer just floats there around the stand pipe?

NO it fits tight to the pipe, you just need to ream out the hole so that the pipe goes threw snugly (sorry )

you can glue everything if you want. I just didn't
