Anyone know of any tricks to keep it alive for extended periods of time?
Seems like my pods just start completely decimating it faster than it can grow after about 1-2 months in the tank.

So you are not using it as pod food?

    Get more pod eaters.

Haven't the foggiest idea. Definitely will follow along.

yeah you are pretty much stuck to harvesting them or protecting it with predators. pods kill me...you have no idea how much macro those $)#*(&$*#$ get of mine...they go nuts for Laurencia and shot glass algae too, drives me crazy... :) Increasing flow around the macro seems to slow them considerably.

My ulna is nuts. It grows best and a little out of control on my coldest tank (that I keep a 63). We would drop it off every week at the LFS for their tangs. But it also grows very well in your average JBJ with stock lighting.
