    this is so awesome, tornado warning in South Central L.A. and Long Beach, L.B. is like 30 minutes away, sooooo awesome, i love this storm :D

    I lived in the midwest way too long to enjoy tornadoes. They scare the crap out of me. One wiped out our barn and took lots of livestock with it. I can see how one could be exciting to someone who doesn't usually see them though lol

    When it comes over the hill to us we just get snow.

    we had one out here in the IE (socal) last year that flipped a train car.nothin compared to the midwest for sure,but we get earthquakes those u can never prepare for

    Yeah..at least you get 30 seconds to sprint to the basement with tornadoes haha

    yea very true. at least torandos give warning it flipped a train car :eek: if the tornado gets near my house hopefully a train isint going by and slmas into my house, tracks are right next to my house.

    Living in the Midwest just means that tornadoes are a yearly occurance... no big deal...and snow gets old fast...
    In 2008 we had a tornado on the ground 12 miles away from us that killed 7 people and left a path of destruction 40 miles long....and 6 weeks later we had the worst flooding ever seen in this region before... Got to love Iowa

    all the news said if you live in the area is dont go by windows, where if the tornado gets near here, im screwed im surrounded by windows right now, if i get anything from the tornado its probably just going to be a lot more wind and rain than were getting now, apparently its starting to touch land

    winds howling like crazy right now, thats kind of like earthquakes for us
