too much light?

    heat is fine, i have a bigggg fan running, little to no noise though, its great. thanks for the suggestion about the black mesh i'll definately go get some. when i do that should I actually drape it over the coral or over the full light, thanks!

    Hmmm not sure how to add the mesh actually. But I know I wouldn't drape it over the light... can you say 'FIRE!!' ;)

    Drape it over the top of the tank between the light and the tank top.

    You can buid frams out of yard sticks and glue mesh or fiberglass screening (Black) make 5 to 6 and remove one aweek till full light this works better then adjusting light time cycles.

    so 2000 watts is the most you've ever seen. dang!!! that's some serious light. What type of lights was it, MH?

    no it was 100 x 20W fluorescent light bulbs over a 29 gal :)
