I added center braces to the stand frame today.

I also checked my DIY C2C overflow for leaks, it actually had 1 small, dripping leak in one corner- caulked it!

Passed the leak test- as in it didn't leak. the bulkheads are not leaking either on the back!

Now I'm hung up on finishing/skinning the stand- painting and staining will be easy once I decide how I want to do it.

I'd like this one I found from 2008- but I don't see where the skin keeps it from 'racking'? I guess I could put a few braces in for redundancy, and finish it like the picture. Simple, yet finished, not a bunch of busy trim hanging everyehere.

I continued to 'reduntantly overbuild' my stand frame today.

I installed 4 Ply triangles on the back, each with very long screws into the frame as an 'anti-racking' measure, with 2x4 braces in the corners of the sides as well.

Here's a pic or the stand laying on the face of the stand, showing some of the re-inforcements.

I also purchased the 3/4 inch, made in USA, Maple Plywood today also. ON sale at Menards for $46 a 4x8 sheet.

I started the base coat on the stand today.

    Rust o leum Latex Int/Exterior.
I figure if they make gloves out of it, it will seal things OK.
Also, b/c I'm using my basement sump, I don't expect the stand to get wet much, if any.

I also cut all the Maple plywood pieces for the exterior today.
No table saw, took forever set up guides for my circular saw.

Awesome work! I love how things are going with your build! Also, love seeing the C2C being built....have you built one in before? Where did you get materials to do C2C? Makes me start considering another build ;) haha
