to xenia or not to xenia?

    That's was what was wondering. Well it just grow off the frag plug? Does this just spread spontaneously?

    dimp, if you read up on these guys the story seems to go! There is no rhyme or reason to the speed at which these guys grow in relation to any tank parameters! For some people they grow like weeds and can get out of control regardless of clean or dirty tank, and then for some they can't grow it to save their life even with perfect parameters! But yes, it has the potential to grow really fast and require a decent amount of work! but they do look cool!

    2 months of xenia growth from 3 frags. click picture for video. the tank is 24 by 24 to give you an idea on size and how much xenia it is

    before that i had a xenia crash that took it all, from i believe a heater malfunction. but it took months till i could grow it again. i really have to get rid of that phoenix bulb...yuk!

    My xenia went from 1 head, that had idk 30 of the cloves. It now has 6 heads or branches or idk stalks, that each have 20 cloves on em. i see new growth every week almost.

    ive had mine a month maybe little longer and it isn't doing much... the first frag of it is doing good way at the bottom of my tank.. they seem to hate the flow in my tank..

    Ive moved mine from extreme flow to almost none, and it seemed to do well either way. They say xenia is weird, case and point right there.

    Yeah. The one coral I wish would just go crazy in my tank and its not. My waving hand anthelia is taking over my tank though.
