like pack said, joes juice. scraping them off will leave tissue behind which will result in more.

No plucking or scraping....... There's commercial products or fish/invert choices. The fish/invert is a toss up though. Boiling water can be injected into them. I'm not speaking from experience with the boiling water. It's something I've considered but, haven't tried. Lemon juice can be also used. Haven't tried that either. I preferred the com. stuff.

aptasia will often move for better real estate, when they move they often leave babies behind the trail, but not allways.

Do not scrape them off! it will just rupture the aiptasia, and you'll have 5 more for every 1 you scrape.
Some people have tried boiling water or lemon juice. I tried both and didnt get a single one.
Just order some joes juice. Its cheap, and HIGHLY effective, and completely reef-safe.

I just got three little peppermint shrimp, they love aiptasia! It was kinda gross, yet fascinating to watch them chow on them too. They will eat them and leave no trace, and if there are any babies, there wont be for long!

That's if you dont like the idea of injecting stuff into them or adding chemicals to your tank.

I have two and they never touched the aiptasia in my tank :-/
And no, they werent being fed
And joe's juice is not a chemical and does not need to be injected into the aiptasia
