    That's a blue maxima, it's the same one I have. They need a lot of lighting, but there is also "too much" which will lead to bleaching on the mantle. Mine is under MH and T5 lights, and gets Nanno phyto once a week and has grown about 1/2" in 3 months. It absorbs about 10ppm nitrates in my little tank. They are neat and will help clean your water, but your water parameters (NO ammonia or nitrites) and elements (meaning Ca, Mg and Alk) better be spot on for them to have a chance at surviving.
