do you think the benefits of bio-pellets are more than the risks for a SPS tank?

    I would have to agree that biopellets would be best added to a system that is still cycling or freshly starting up. If you are going to add these to an established aquarium with high nutrients, I would suggest aggressive water changes ahead of time to lower N/P as much as possible before hand. I personally ran less then 1/3 of the suggested amount and seen a drastic fall in nutrients within a week (Not positive if its related, but also must dose for alk much more frequently). If I were to do it again I would add much less to start. All this said, I have seen great results with the use of BP's.
