I believe hydroids are little jelly fish. And typically die off fairly quickly

How do i get rid of the things? I was just looking again, and the things are allll over the glass. I just scrubbed the glass about 5 hours ago and they are already back sticking to it.

They normally don't survive in our tanks. They probably will be gone in a week or so. You could probably siphon them out if you wish.

I guess i will let it be for a week or so and see if the zoas open back up. If these whatever they are disappear and the zoas still aren't opening up i guess i'll have to explore other causes. I'm gonna do an extra water change this week too just for the heck of it.

I've had satwater tanks set up for over ten years and have had those things on my glass pretty much all the time. I'll clean the glass every few days and there will be new ones on it after a while. They have never gotten out of control, just a few here and there. Never had any problems with my corals.
