Time to Vote! 2010 3reef DIY Video Contest

This is so exciting. I've been checking up on the votes at least once every hour. Man, two weeks. I can't wait!!

Lots of good videos! Bzar, has my vote though, extremely informative and just an all around awsome video.

 

If you don't want to do a '3 steps' DIY video, feel free to just do a video with a '3' theme - what are the 3 most important things you have learned in this hobby? Or 3 dos and don'ts... be creative!

Just an idea for next time....perhaps it'd be wise to call this, instead of DIY.

"3Reef 3step Video Contest"

Reason is that making a true DIY video informative AND entertaining isn't easy. Otherwise this kind of minimizes the effort into making a video that's actually DIY when it's up against just entertainment and informational movies that just relate to reef keeping. That way people can focus on "what sells" instead of substance.

edit: and why hasn't my post count changed? Been stuck at 17 for a long time...weird. Is it related to the contest?

 

Everyone was given the same rules from the same post. What the contest is called doesn't really matter.

Bzar, your post count hasn't changed because certain forums and certain threads don't increase one's post count.

 

I think the idea is that the contest should be given a subject that's somewhat enforced, rather than saying "if you don't want to do that, anything goes".
