    I voted for South Florida Reef Tank Club [ S.F.R.T.C.] because "reef society" or similar sounds like you are actively doing something with Florida's reefs. I find it slightly misleading. But I don't actually care, I'm just being devil's advocate. 8)

    well voting is almost over.. looks like South Florida Reef Society [ S.F.R.S. ] is the new club name. Hopefully a mod can change our forum name for us.. help anyone?

    NO big deal at all. Some or most clubs/associations decide their name by meeting with their members and members only... pretty strict about that some of them are.

    My vote is in! GO S.F.R.A.G!!

    I don't think F.A.R.T.S sounds serious enough.. I agree with reefsparky on that subject.

    So ReefSparky, I'm curious, in the story you mention... how'd the sign company do?

    I mean, you just said you didn't think it was a great name (more or less) but did the business succeed? Or did they fold? An important detail to draw conclusions from the experience IMO.
