May want to drop that number down to about 50. 100 votes is a lot of votes.

I often look for simplicity. When I look at a business name, personally, something to the point appeals more than something catchy. I ask myself, are they more interested in a catchy name, or do they mean serious business? Sometimes both are attainable, but I find usually that it's either one or the other.

Call me plain, but I voted for South Florida Reef Society. Sounds short & to the point, and not too whimsical.

When I was younger, my buddy's sister opened a sign company. My buddy was so proud of the name. She came up with, "What's Your Sign" all by herself. His opinion was, "wow, she's a genius!" I thought that a name like "Sara's Signs" would have been more appropriate.

Maybe it's my old, crotchety mind. :)

:confused::confused: But... I don't get this quite well... are we (people not from South FL) allowed to vote the name of somebody else's reef club?:confused::confused:

I don't see why not. It's not stipulated that the voter be from South Florida. Also, I've always been a fan of "the more opinions, the better" concept.
