By the way, the scientist they quoted was not basing his comments on personal observations. He was only guessing, based on damage from a similar typhoon.

 

Encroachment of people on mother nature like a virus?..No way!..Thats just in the movies... But with the right amount of clout you can get a condo built anywhere...I could go on about development ...What's needed is more legislation restricting building close to shore or wetland areas ...The further we can stay away from any Eco system the better...But then again , I would love to have a house overlooking the Great Barrier Reef..When I hit the lottery
