I don't think it makes much of a difference. But 400 x 500 ( or 500 x400) is the biggest size it can easily handel. You could go with a smaller pixel ratio and it will be fine. Just don't exceed the limit.

its funny that all of a sudden theres alot of people just joining the site within the past day or so and there first and only post on this site is their ecopico picture. I thought you had to be a member for 2 weeks and have 15 posts, or is that just to vote?

Ha! Guess that makes three. Although, some may have been "lurkers" like me and they may have just finally made the jump to register. I usually hang out and browse the posts here, looking at all the good information that people have to share.

Usually 400x500 breaks down as 400 high by 500 wide (landscape). But Seano is most likely spot on with the site size preferred display size and either or. They may have just wanted to make sure no one posted a huge, hulking picture.

    Cheers.

    I have a dumb question-

In the "reply to thread" box I don't see an "add attachments" option. Am I just being stoopid and/ or tired? How do I submit my work?

    thanks much,
    Jan
