    It takes bacteria about two weeks to colonize all of the available pores and thus block adsorbsion of waste.

    How long should i let the new carbon run before i take on this task?

    You could change the carbon then perform the task.

    alright i got out about 75% of the palys! The rock i bought them on came off my other rock pretty easily! Just gave it a little tug, and it came right off. So now i have a nice red/paly frag up for grabs!
