    hello i'm new to this site.
    have had a salt tank for 2-3years with multiple problems

    45 gal long with 18k power glo bulbs, multiple kinds of snails and crabs, sea hair and yellow tang,

    18 k powerglo? how many watts are they and what kind of tank are you trying to have? what kind of problems have you been having? (list the pics like 1., 2., 3., etc...) how bout some pics, so we can see what you're working with!:)

    "Multiple problems" normal for everyone when first starting out. (and even later)...don't feel alone.

    Got 'em sorted out yet, or still experiencing.

    tank spec and pics

    been having a problem with nitrates lately but havent figured out why. been doing lots of water changes, but that seems to be the only thing that helps out. have a Rena 75 with carbon,nitorsorb, and phosorb filters in it, we have been changing them and recharging them but to no avail...

    30-35lbs LR,12-13 nassarius, 8 margarita, 2 emerald, 1 sally lightfoot, sea hair, and yellow tang..just lost 2 pin urchins, engineer goby(black and yellow),and a tomato clown...:-[:cry:

    tried to upload pics, no luck, try again soon, promise.
