I'm no expert on controllers so I'm not going to say that you should or shouldn't be able to, but I can't recall seeing anyone running it off a Reef Keeper.

I know it can be done with a reef angel so I don't see why not with the reef keeper. But then again I'm no expert and well I don't have any of those. Pumps or controllers, so I'm bowing out and just going to watch for now.

I just searched through another thread and all I found about using it with a Reef keeper was this...

I was reading one of the thread on the 'other forum' - boo, hiss, that a standard Laptop DC controller works perfectly on the wp40- using DC inputs.

They even had links to one that plugged right in, no modding.

    Thanks for starting this post.
I've been looking at this for weeks on wireefsociety.com • Index page (my local/regional) and others.
    I'm getting one soon too!

Sweet Todd. Thanks for the info. Can't wait for mine too and then we can be part of Daniels club.

#3. I'm sure Steve could, my wife could also easily translate those directions and info- her native language.

Also, while i think I still want one, I may have to rethink this.

I have a sensor about 3/4" above my DT waterline, that is hooked to my high water level cut off for my return pump.

If it's got a wave big enough, it'll trigger it and shut down my return!

I'm sure with the controller and the variable DC power supply, I can get it to work without any real 'waves'- I hope!

Todd, while I don't know for a fact. But from the videos that I've watched and the reviews that I've read I don't see a problem. I think once you get it dialed in just right without tidal waves you should have no problem with the sensor. Again I don't know for sure I am just thinking out loud again.
