visited last weekend to check out one particular vendor
I purchased 2 x aquacultured SPS corals about 10 weeks ago from a relatively new vendor , this vendor devotes over 50% of his shop space to fragged corals - you can tell they are fragged as many are on those nice plugs that look like rock and many have an ID tag in them which from what I gather indicates the supplier he got them from

Torches - there where 2 tanks of these 2 and 3 headed colonies

swapped business cards with this guy, and Tuesday he phoned me to tell me he had several new SPS frags in
so Ill be back at the weekend

    Thanks Divott

next time I go, I will contribute a post about 1 specific shop
this shop only has 2 tanks, both saltwater, limited dry goods
but its the shop that I have purchased my last 7 SPS frags

the largest tank is a 1 metre cube - and is a SPS display
the other tank last time I was there had probably 20 different types of SPS frags and at least 3 or 4 pieces of each type (so good choices)

very very interesting. thanks for the insight, steve. at-least the live stock doesn't have very far to travel in comparison to the States.

hey steve what are prices like over there? and what quality of corals do they get in China?

I have heard that Japan gets all the premium stuff and then the leftovers go to the US...

I appreciate you bringing it back up, this is a great thread. It's not too often you get a street-level view of China like this from the states.
