    Don't trust the digital thermometers. they are good for getting close but I've found that the "oldschool" glass thermometers are still the most accurate in the hobby.

    i have one RSM and i am very happy so far as you said mechanical filtration black sponge really reduce water flow also increase nitrate i will move my foams this weekend and moreover i will replace the chemical filter bag and carbon with 5-7 lb rabble live rock. temperature is raising sometime up to 84F,i don't have the chiller.

    I would leave the carbon option open in the RSM as you may need it.

    Get a refractometer the one that comes with gave me reading that were too high. I get my water from a lfs and I know that the sg is supposed to 1.023 and my hydrometer was reading 1.026 and they were using a refractomer.

    i am interested in this tank and i am getting my tank today.

    I need help

    I can go for the oceanic biocube 29 with the stand for $450 or i can get this tank for $800

    I really think it is expensive but if it is that amazing i would be interested in it

    Can someone tell me

    Oceanic 29 with stand or the RSM with the test kits, salt, chiller, stand, sand, skimmer, heater

    If you gave me a oceanic bio-cube I'd trade it for a JBJ in a heartbeat Oceanic doesnt even manufacture them they contract it out and stick their names on it.

    RSM is 100% the best 1 box Reef solution I've ever seen

    Personally I own a JBJ due to the fact I paid as much for my tank, LR, LS and other stuff as what just this tank cost
