While it looks like we are still waiting for the release of ReefLink from EcoTech Marine, here is a one minute video overview by a member of the EcoTech team at MACNA. ReefLink has been in beta testing since September and was scheduled for an October release at $199. The ReefLink currently will allow for wireless control of your Radion lighting with Vortech pumps to follow. ReefLink could get really interesting if becomes a full blown controller for all your hardware. EcoTech Marine says something is "in the works."

Just IMO here, but right now, if you have an Apex (and considering the new Fusion software coming soon), this piece of equipment isn't of any use to you (yet).

I'm really surprised they sold the rights for apex to impliment radion control with these coming out.

Which makes it all the more intriguing what they're planning to do with this gizmo. And they were not talking.

Vortech control before the end of the year. Then I would imagine wireless heater control, wireless DC pump, then maybe a skimmer.

Right; that part wasn't a secret.

    Maybe.

Whatever it is, it'll have to be magical to allow this to complete with an Apex. Unless the brand loyalty to Ecotech is really that strong (which is possible).

    Ultimately, I don't think you're dreaming big enough. :)

    Haha
I know I will be snatching one of these bad boys up as soon as they come out.

Sold my apex 2-3 weeks ago. The reason being that I used it as a 500.00 thermostat..

Can't wait. It would be nice to program the vortechs without staring at colored flashing lights lol.
