I just purchased a 1400 and added it to my 55 yesterday. I had planned on getting a K3 but saw these coming out and waited, Glad I did. They are actually smaller than the K3 and have almost twice the flow.
Still trying to postion it just right , I have stopped the substrate sandstorm but still getting a bt much flow to a couple of corals, that dont seem to like it.

Wish those had been available when I bought my Sicce Voyagers:cry: I am happy with the Voyagers but they appear to be much larger than the Evolutions.

I was actually considering the voyagers sunday night until I found the evos on sale with lots of info on em to fuel my purchase.

The voyager and evo are comparable.

Looks like they're rising back to the top of the market. For anyone with a controller these look like a better buy than even an Ecotech!

Thats how I feel since I have them hooked up to my controller.

I have it setup this way:

Left PH on for 5 minutes, right off for 5.
Both PH's on for 5 minutes.
Left PH off for 5 minutes, right on for 5.

Its not a crazy on/off like vortech can provide with the wonderful wave.... but it still serves a great purpose.

$46 vs the $200-400+ is no competition IMO

I would like to see a side by side shot of comparable voyager to K evo.

Me too. i posted pics of the K4 and V3 side by side and find them about the same, the Evos look smaller from what I can tell but it would be nice to see them side by side.

Hey Tatt, what controller are you using? Any regrets?

I have them setup with my APEX.

I will now say since theyve been on for a few days that there is a small click when they turn on. Very small click. Nothing that gives any concern or annoyance though.
