We should all probably disconnect the web modules of our controllers until the site is back up just in case.

Update -

Just getting rolling here. (I'm on the west coast. )

After the necessary caffeine I will start in earnest.

The site will not go dark for several hours.

I will start with wrapping up a couple design tasks on the beta site, then review pages and pages of notes. Then I will start backing up a few things on the beta site. Reinstall a few things clean, then start the importing. Before the importing I'll turn the live site off. I'll give a heads up before that.

FYI, if any of you use the 3reef 'lists' feature - please bookmark all your threads. When the new site is up, your bookmarks (knock on wood) will redirect to the new location on the new site.

Everything else - PM messages, your gallery photos, etc will be imported.

Ok, back to the caffeine.

UPDATE -

The site will remain up for possibly 24 hours or so.

Today was a mixed bag.

Worked on new development prior to importing.

Victory on a big issue, but a small add-on to mobile is working on some phones and not others (mine of course). I'll revisit tomorrow. Not a showstopper, but annoying. If I have too, I'll punt it until after the lights are on.

Spend the rest of the day reviewing a lot of notes and getting prepared for the data import.

I have all next week off, so this is happening. I still think we are on Schedule for Monday.

Gotta get out of this chair. Enjoy the old site a bit longer and your long weekend!
