2 maximas (1 gold/ green, and one light blue) one bigger crocea that I need to move up higher eventually, although it is doing just fine down low, and a derasa that is growing a ton. Like about a 1/2" on its shell already

I will be adding to my collection of course.

I just got the 2 maximas last week.

do you feed your clams or do you just let the light and trace elements do the work?

Just light, feeding clams is pretty much a myth, at least at the size we get them from collectors/ clam breeders. By the time we get them, theya re all solely dependent on light to fuel their zooxanthilliae (sp)

My calcium reactor takes care of all the needs, along with semi regular water changes:)

The tank is not solely for clams. It is just my 200g reef tank.

oh well. so are they going to "Litter" the bottom of the tank or will they be in one designated spot?

Beautiful! We just got our first clams last week (got a green maxima and a blue crocea). Love 'em and could just imagine how spectacular a clam garden will be!
