Actually it drops it off past the skimmer. Near the sump pump.

I don't see many air-lift tanks out there that would be ideal for pods. There are always pumps and filters somewhere.

what are the dimensions of the box and how much water do you think it holds? Depending on the dimensions it might fit my needs as a top-off h2o container.

    Dimensions: 13-7/8" x 7-1/4" x 10-1/2" inside, 16-7/8" x 9-5/8" x 10-7/8" outside

Attwood Power Guard 27 Battery Box (27 Series) at Blain's Farm & Fleet

Comes out to around 5.8 gallons - where I have the water level puts it at the 4+ gallons.

Wow I love it when DIY fabrication works perfectly the first time :) Like, where it's so perfect it'd be hard to replicate it. Very nice, King fish :)

EDIT: This is =Jwin= actually. My mom left her account signed in. Muahahahahahahaha

Looks awesome matt. But you know I already said this ;) Wow you can really tell a difference between the tone my mom uses and the tone I use. Awesome.

I've seen these battery boxes and for only 1/8" it would easily flex enough to squeeze it in. You could even shave the lid a bit to make it easier. I wouldn't let an 1/8" stop you if it looks good otherwise.
