Why yes Robin it is.
Next on my wish list are pikachu acro, and a red tip abrotanoides. We shall see how long it takes them to get into my tank.
Well here's a bump and a small update. I rescued two acropora abrotanoides colonies from a friends LFS, long story short, I got them for free because dying SPS colonies aren't his thing lol. One was RTNing and didn't make it past two nights, the other, appears mostly dead however two branches seem to be holding tissue and polyping out. It's only been a couple days and I'm not getting my hopes up, but I do consider this a small victory that the RTN stopped when it was transferred to my tank. For those that don't know, Abro's are considered one of the hardest Acros to keep. Pics tomorrow once lights are on.
Here you go Va Reef. I wonder if it will stay that color.
Check it out.
I think I need this, I have looked at some grown out colonies, so beautiful. What to do, what to do!!!
It's a Acropora samoensis.
Looks just like a blue humilis.
Where did you get that colony shot of the abro? Doesn't look like any colony I've ever seen, growth form is staghorn not tabling. I'm waiting for a nice green with red tip abro.
The one that I rescued is still alive and polyped out. Fingers crossed everyone.
Here's a shot of my littler colonies all mashed together
