    Another good idea. I think I got lucky with the existing holes though, might not need to.

    Thanks. I will do a FTS when I am done painting this light extension.


    Hey all - what should I cut this steel piece with? I have access to a wood shop at the local boat club with table saws... will a band saw work?

    I am thinking about priming and painting the piece too. Any suggestions on paint there?

    Indeed! Loving it.


    Never mind - cut the piece, grinded it out a bit, primed and painted it flat black... it is drying now.

    Updated Pic below... Not flawless, definitely DIY, but I like!

    you can also spray paint that punched angle black once you cut it. it will look cleaner.

    just seen the post above.. good job looks great!

    I have it a bit high as 10" above water for now, The original arm that I flipped over, still slides, so I can adjust further down when needed.
