I have a 28 gallon saltwater bow tank and I am looking for suggestions on a test kit and which individual kits I would need. My old API kit is outdated and now that I have finally got my system under control I would like to keep it that way so down the road I can add soft coral. My old kit tested nitrate, nitrite, ammonia and PH. What else would you suggest?

    Thanks.

Calcium, Phosphate, Alk/dkh, Magnessium at least. You can also add Strontium and Iodine test kits as well. The general rule is never add anything in to your tank that you don't test for.
