You can try adding one of Dr.Tim's products or MB7.

So weird Corailline, I checked this morning it looked to be almost 1.0ppm, I just ckecked it again now it looks to be about 0.25ppm, I opened my canister filter and added a little Biozyme to speed things up a bit, I did triple my dose of prime also this morning, last thing I want to do is make arrangements in my tank for new coral placement that will arrive soon with an ammonia issue :(

I am running a Coralife Super Skimmer 65, works quite well after some tweeks, combined I am looking at about 120 lbs between sand and rock.

i would take it easy with the prime. its really an emergency only item. work on getting the bacteria in line, bacter7 is a great product for that and even states on the bottle about its rapid reduction of ammonia Brightwell Aquatics - Microbacter7

also i have never seen a huge difference in api verses other test kits. i have an api alk test kit that reads so close to my hanna test kit. a 5 dollar (api) test kit verses a 50 dollar (hanna) test kit. who's the fool? ME! for wasting 50 dollars.
i always keep 2 different brand test kits, different brands to cross check when I'm in doubt about a test result. beats running to the fish store for a cross check imo
