Unresolved tentacle

    i don't think it's a brittle star. it's a smooth thin tentacle(a couple mm).it might be a spaghetti worm. i just read S worms are toxic. true?
    any thing else that looks similar?

    Yeah, the most tentacles I've ever seen my spaghetti worm put out at one time is two, and usually just one, so I think they don't always have a whole bunch out. Mine is also a white/cream color, not as clear as they sometimes are.

    But that's just my opinion I gathered from the lil' guy in my tank. I don't know too much about them...except they are kinda gross. lol

    Spaghetti worms are harmless, and good for the tank. It sounds like that is what it is.

    yeah i think it's a spaghetti worm. thanks for all the help, even though i couldn't get a pic.

    looks more like the spaghetti worm but either way they seem to both be ok to have in your tank.
