Now at this point you really have to ask yourself. Are these lights going to get me some action or did I just spend 400 dollars on a morman dinner donation?

Well, you know my answer here. T5s baby. T5s. Better color combos. Less heat. You can grow anything if you have the right bulbs. Craig mentioned ATI Powermodules. Better setup but a few hundred bucks more. A TEK will do you just fine. It's a great set up for the price.

    You know I voted T5's. :)

A note about bulbs, I'm debating a couple variations on my tank to begin with just for some ideas for ya. Front to back.

    ATI Blue+
    UVL 12kk
    ATI Blue+
    ATI ProColor
    OR
    ATI Blue+
    UVL 12kk
    ATI ProColor
    ATI Blue+

    ATI Actinic
    ATI Blue+
    UVL 12kk
    ATI Blue+

The ATI Blue+ bulbs have incredible PAR for a blue bulb and a great color IMO to boot, so then it's just a matter of balancing that out with some other good PAR bulbs and keeping it from going too blue. I'm leaning towards one of the first two configs right now, I'm not sure I want the actinic bulb in there. I'm also considering using a UVL Aquasun instead of the 12kk but haven't decided yet. So many choices, but that's why I love T5s!
