    how long will my corals be able to go without light if i cant get this working again i only have a couple of corals but it's a mix of sps lps and softies

    Actinic are pretty much useless as far as corals are concerned. Put your daylight bulbs where your actinics are and see if they work. If the daylights work you need a new ballast...if they don't put ur actinic bulbs where the daylights normally are and see if they turn on.

    ok ill see if im able to get the bulbs out and swap them

    im able to get one daylight bulb out not any others i may wait until the parents get hom to see if they'd be able to nudge the bulbs out

    You have to gently pull the bulb up then rotate it. If the bulb is all the way down you won't be able to rotate it.

    they should come out fairly easy. just a half turn or so. is there corrosion on the ends they wont come out?

    i'll try that

    it was really hard to get them out, i was able to get two now difficulties putting them back in

    spray it with contact cleaner
