The trick to target feeding is foreplay!!!
The coral reacts to being teased a few min before you actually feed. I use 2 cubes of frozen mysis and brine to prime the water. I put the cubes in the tongs and wave it over the corals and let the juices melt around the corals. Then I put the 2 partially melted cubes in a cup of tank water and let it thaw.
By the time the cubes are thawed the corals are all extended and ready to accept direct feeding. It is the juices that stimulate the feeding response and make the corals extend their feeding tentacles.

I bought a large eye dropper that has a 24 inch tube and I fill it up with the thawed brine and mysis shrimp. I also mix in some oyster feast and a little bio plankton and phytoplankton. Suck it all up in the applicator and shoot the mix into each coral feeding orifice.

Do this and your corals will puff up and be happy, they sometimes smile at you.
