Tank Crashing?

    3wks ago is when you noticed a problem, what did you do prior to that? change/add something?

    temp? spikes? drops?

    heater?

    ground probe?

    I think I may have found the problem. I just checked temp using another thermometer and the one in the tank is low by 3 degrees...It appears that the tank has been running at about 84 for a few weeks now....

    I'm glad you found the problem. Remember, bleaching doesn't necessarily equal death. Cut back on your skimming a little so that more nutrients are available. Hopefully your monti will be re-infected by some zooxanthellae if there are any still left in the tank.

    Cool, thank you very much...The monti seems to be coming back, it now has a light orange hue where it was completely white(bleached)..
