    i wouldnt recommend getting it as the hair algae can spread and cover your whole tank.
    but it depends upon the tang some are picky some are not. the yellows dont typically eat hair algae but if its hungry it will definitely pick at it.

    you may have better luck with nori if you buy some thats not roasted, i bought that kind once the animals didnt like the smokey flavor

    ulva and chaeto are both good for them, mine go after both the moment they touch the water they love the stuff, and with the chaeto there is always pods in it for the other fish to go after

    are ulva and chaeto common in stores? i know my LFS sells some macros but i dont know what types.

    i wouldnt expect them to have ulva, probably cheato

    hey i didn't know tangs are so vulnerable to ich, as sostoudt knows, my trigger is fighting off ich, hes doing quite well. I'll probably wait untill my ich is gone first. but, does this mean that if i get one and he catches ich, he'll most likely die?
