Yeah, if you wanna get them mixed, you need to place them next each other in theory. Thats part of the reason why the Ecotech's Radion's LEDs are close to each other. I have been working on my allowance saved up to order the additional LEDs. It will be like this:

And I gotta shop around on the UVs.. I might go with Chinese 5 watts UVs :devil2:

You also need to consider the amount of drivers you will need if you decide to add in some additional colors, I haven't looked but these LEDs all run at a certain mA voltage, and since every LED gets the same current, you wouldn't want to have, for example, the Cool whites and the blues run together, as that would make your max allowable current 1000mA, instead of 1500mA for the whites and 1000mA for the blues. You lose a good deal of power in this type of set up.

To summarize and maybe clear up what I am saying, just make sure you plan carefully so that your runs from the drivers are all making use of the max voltage you can put to each LED.

EDIT: Osram are 1000mA too, so you could throw them in with the blues and RB's. But they would all dim together (If you are going dimmable) thus not give you any choices over the final blend of blue/RB/red. Just an example though!

    Good luck!

Just ordered the 8.46 x 30 inch heat sink from heatsinkusa. Should be able to get the rapid order put together later this week and get that on its way. Will post some detailed pics once I start the build.

Well, I just placed a decent sized order from Rapid.

    Display Light Build

    18 Royal Blue
    12 Cool White
    6 Neutral White
    60 Degree Optics

I also ordered some stuff for my ATS build.

1 Mean Well LPC-35-700 constant current driver
    8 Osram 660nm red leds
    2 4.25" x 4" Heat sinks

Be on the lookout for a couple new led build threads!

Are you trying to cram all those LEDs onto those two tiny heatsinks?
