    Finished Product

Alright, after alot of head scratching, trips to the hardware store, cussing, and careful planning, its finally done. I think it turned out really well, I'll let you guys decide. Here are some pics of the finished product. I will touch on a couple of things I did that I thought were a nice feature.

    Complete Setup

Trailer plugs were used to connect the drivers to the light. This will allow me to easily disconnect the light from the drivers in a couple seconds.

I used a 1/2 inch electrical box connector made to hold romex to keep the wires and wire loom fixed tightly to the fixture and prevents strain on the solder joints on the led stars.

This shows how the heat sink was drilled and tapped to mount the black acrylic with allen head bolts.

Doesnt need it. With all strings at 100% for 6 hours, I can still hold my hand on the heat sink. The fans are often not needed, but people like to add them for piece of mind. I didnt want the added cost and extra mess of wires.

The trailer plugs are a nice touch. I wish I would have done something like that.

Yeah, I knew I needed a plug of some type to make it easy to work on things. I was at the store picking up something else and passed by these and thought AHHH.

You can always add a fan later if it's ever needed, and the heatsink shouldnt be warm to the touch, just so you know ;)

Great job, insane! Now put it over the tank already! (or take pics if it's up and running)
