I know I have many threads about my planted tank build, but I just want to do things right the first time. Today I am ready to take the gravel out. Is there anything I need to add to the tank to make sure it stays stable? have many fish in my tank and I do not want them to be affected. I am planing on adding the eco complete in next week, and at that time I will add things, but do I need to add anything now? My tank will be bb for about a week.
    Thanks

I would remove all the fish while taking the gravel out, then rinse out your filters and add in the eco-complete right away and then put the fish back in. No sense in upsetting the fish 2 weeks in a row.

Thanks for the quick reply, 2in10!
So I guess I will just have to wait for next week when the substrate comes.
